Noob question: TV show episodes (of Firefly) out of order, how reorder?

Hi all,

 

Sorry for the noob question.  I'm loving Emby but I still don't know all the ins and out.

 

I have all 14 episodes of Firefly on my server, but Emby is listing them improperly/out of order (presumable since Fox initially aired them out of order).

 

Is there a way I can manually reorder the episodes so they appear properly?  I don't want to completely disable all the metainfo, just the episode order for this one show.

Oh that's a PIA. The actual aired episodes were aired in the wrong order. I manually played each one to figure which episode it was, then relabeled them. There're several shows like that. You'll have to look online to figure out the correct order. Then I edited the metadata for each episode in Emby, and locked them.

You have the Display order option.  But it comes down to what order is your media actually stored in?  Aired or DVD?  If your media is already in DVD order change the series display order to DVD.  Edit metadata on Series.
