im85288 1493 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 There seems to be some discrepancies when using the new views api. As an example this is a subset of what is returned for my views: For the folders it returns: Now if I retrieve the items for the identifier given for example for Movies with folders I get all my movies as expected. http://192.168.1.88:8096/mediabrowser/Users/1af01e01a4b7a4c5f74a5782490ea02d/Items?parentid=b9f0c0d5c1c7ae2b3d80f4bbad544eb6 But if I use the identifier from the views for Movies I get lots of other information such as Tv series etc http://192.168.1.88:8096/mediabrowser/Users/1af01e01a4b7a4c5f74a5782490ea02d/Items?parentid=19f7bc05bc63d0492e51f583e852bfe3 So my question is, why does the movies view return TV Series items. The Music view identifier retrieved all movies, series, music and boxsets
Luke 42077 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 The answer is, this api is not ready yet. So hold off for now. 1

im85288 1493 Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 Thanks Luke, Just let me know when it is ready. I mustn't have been having the same laughing gas as @@chef as I thought your answer was fine.
