Guest Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Hi there. Lets say I don't want the main movie in my library but just want the Extras. I want it to show the movie and all the information but not have to store the main movie file as well as the extras. Basically I want it to do everything normal for a movie with extras without having the actual movie there. Possible? I've tried to make a top level folder with the movie name then extras folder under that and just populate that but it just separates all the files into their own movies. Thanks.
Guest Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Hi, yes you could use our media stub feature. Great! Thanks I will check that out. Appreciated.
Guest Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Hi, yes you could use our media stub feature. Just tried this and works as expected. Pretty slick. Follow up is if there is any way that when you click on an Extra that you can see the chapters of the extra instead of it just playing it immediately? Thanks.
Guest Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Currently no there's no option for that. Gotcha. Would a Collection be better in that situation then instead of using the the media stub? Seems like it would be but want to make sure I'm not missing something. Thanks again.
Luke 42077 Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Yes you could try collections, or even just put the extras into their own library and then organize by folder.
