coolmoss77 0 Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Hello, I just installed the latest server version on Win7 and went to change a user password. I went to the user page, and where the tabs for Profile/Access/Parental Control/Password are located, clicking on any of those tabs do nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!
coolmoss77 0 Posted March 2, 2020 Author Posted March 2, 2020 Okay, after some experimenting, I found that if I open up the server app in a different browser, everything seems to work fine. I was able to reset password, and I was able to logon from a roku box. However, no media content showed up from the roku box, so I went to look at the Library tab from the server pc and while the titles of the sections I set up are there, they all show "zero folders". I'm at a loss to understand what's going on. I've been running emby for some time with essentially no issues.
coolmoss77 0 Posted March 2, 2020 Author Posted March 2, 2020 Have no idea what version I upgraded from. I did run a library scan and the media has now come back, but none of the thumbnails (movie posters) are present. If you can suggest a way to revive those that would be appreciated. I'm rather leery of emby at this point. Same crap happened with plex and I dropped that. Changes to the software cause me endless headaches, much wasted time. Rather disappointed
Luke 42081 Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Can you please attach the emby server log? Thanks!
Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 This topic is all over the place so it is hard to figure out what the issue may be. What browsers are we talking about? Are there browser plugins/extensions involved? If there was a major version upgrade involved here it could case a complete database rebuild and if you don't save metadata and image with media everything to start over but now have database issues. Without all the information it is almost impossible to say what happened or is happening.
