Alpha Picker Activated in Edit Metadata View

If you are using a PC with a keyboard and are in a screen with an alpha picker then the keyboard activates the alpha picker. so far so good. however if you open the metadata editor for one of the items from that view by clicking on the three dot menu for an item, anything you type after that point continues to activate the alpha picker. not good.

 

please can this be fixed

Yep seeing this as well in .18 and .19 beta - not tried stable

 

For example - go the album artists tab - multi select an artist - go to create playlist - click add new

 

now as you type - background jumps to the letters AND a largeish image of the letter(s) appears in bottom right corner (ah which actually is there without the playlist dialog window)

 

also if there is a jump between letters being typed can mean the letters are not registered in the playlist name dialog

I've seen this issue with creating playlists and collections as far back as the new "add to playlist/collection" dialog.
