Live adjustment of recording schedules

Here in the UK, at least, it is possible for off-air recording devices to check transmitted signal metadata for the actual start and end time of programs, so that they are recorded correctly if delayed by the overrun of an earlier program (typically news or sport), or even (I think) if they start early.

 

Does Emby have any such capability, and if not is it something which is planned, or could be considered?
