Minor issues found with latest version on FireTv Cube

I love the new update in general but I have ran into a few minor annoyances on the user interface since the last update.

 

1. Sometimes, but not always, the list of recordings does not refresh when a recording is deleted. If you select the same recording again it shows a blank screen and the it refreshes when you go back or if you select another page and then go back the list refreshes. Once this starts happening it happens every time until I stop the app and then restart it.

 

2. When selecting the Live TV Guide it displays the channels from the bottom up. I have to scroll back up to the top every time. It doesn't seem to matter if I have it set to sort by channel number or not.

 

3. Sometimes it takes a long time to resume the playback of a recording. It will first show the opening screen like when the recording started and then the screen will freeze for quite a while (sometimes minutes) before the playback actually restarts.

 

4.I still occasionally run into the scenario where it just goes to a black screen when starting the emby client app and then I have to force the app to stop and then it will work again. This used to happen a lot before the update but now it's much less frequent. It seems like maybe sometimes the app doesn't stop running when i exit back to the FireTV home screen.

1 - I think this is fixed for the next release

 

2 - If sorting by channel, it will position you on the last channel you played.  I think that is what is happening to you.  If you sort by last played, though, this should always be the one at the top...

 

3 - This may improve in the next release but is probably related to if the item is remuxing, transcoding, etc.

 

4 - You still have to force-close it?  You can't just re-open it?

In regards to item 4, yes I still have to force it to stop before it will work again. It doesn't happen as often as before. Very intermittent.

1 is not fixed. I reported it ages ago.

 

3 has been much improved for me but as @@ebr said it depends on your stream and audio types and if they are capable of being stream copied.
