Is there a list with the used abbreviations and the full names of channels, as it takes sometime with some of them to decipher what they are.

I use this for getting the EPG numbers based on Emby's EPG data from SKY HD National:

 

https://www.tvchannellists.com/List_of_channels_on_Sky_(UK_and_Ireland)

 

I ignore the channel description names within Emby and just use the EPG numbers as reference (HD, SD & +1). Works fine for me.

I do have the same question.

I'd like to map the channels in US and UK, but can't find fomr some the equivalent abbreviations. Where can I find these?

I use ZIP EC1A for US and 60007 for US.

For US you just enter the 60007 zip code.
