M3u Editor - Missing channels

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hello!

I am trying to get my m3u channel list organized with my own channel numbers in particular into emby. I have tried m3u-editor.com and iptveditor.com and have had SOME luck, but... Only like half of the channels actually make it into my live tv guide whatsoever. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it; random channel numbers from different groups even just dont show up like the other half. Any idea what would cause this??

Here is an example of what iptveditor.com is putting out:

This one shows up (m3u source and password removed):

#EXTINF:0 tvg-chno="206" tvg-name="ESPN" tvg-logo="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2f/ESPN_wordmark.svg/338px-ESPN_wordmark.svg.png"tvg-ID="espn.us" group-title="VIP USA SPORTS NETWORKS" tvg-shift="",ESPN

This one doesnt show up:

#EXTINF:0 tvg-chno="202" tvg-name="CNN" tvg-logo="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b1/CNN.svg/300px-CNN.svg.png"tvg-ID="cnn.us" group-title="VIP USA ENTERTAINMENT" tvg-shift="",CNN

Hi there, make sure there aren't any duplicate tvg-id attributes.

Fixed! Thank you!

Would be nice if this didn't happen though so backup channels & guide items could still exist.

We plan to expand our channel management features in the near future to provide you with better control over this. Thanks for the feedback.
