Alerts - check for application updates failed

I am getting messages in emby server that checks to update have failed:

 

Check for application updates failed

Check for plugin updates failed

 

What is the best way to resolve this?  I tried restarting server but it didnt help.

Since this error was yesterday it would appear to be a random issue.  How often does it happen, does it happen at the same times?  I believe check for plugin updates runs every 3 hours.
