V.Rds 0 Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Hi, I’m using Emby for android tv, and the “more” button (3 dots button) doesn’t show when entering in the movie/série menu. some times, after playing the video for a while, when I got back it appears... I need it to be able to download subtitles. Any suggestions? this button is always showing in Emby on my IPad. thanks
ebr 16184 Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Hi. You can always get to download subs by long-pressing (or use menu button on remote if you have it) on the item poster in a grid or list screen.
V.Rds 0 Posted February 24, 2020 Author Posted February 24, 2020 Hi erb, thanks for your reply and tips. it works for movies, but on series only works in the “next” episode list. However is a workaround that I can work with. do you know if there it will be corrected in a future update? thnaks
ebr 16184 Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 but on series only works in the “next” episode list. You cannot search for subtitles on a Series - only on an individual episode.
V.Rds 0 Posted February 24, 2020 Author Posted February 24, 2020 Yes, I know, but in the menu after I select the season, where we see a vertical episode list, those methods don’t work. thats why I hope this will be fixed in a future update, so I can download the subs inside the episode overview. If it works in the others OS, should work on this as well, how hard can it be for the devs who made an awesome app like this, to fix a missing button.
Luke 42078 Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 What happens if you select the episode and then go to the episode detail screen?
V.Rds 0 Posted February 24, 2020 Author Posted February 24, 2020 What happens if you select the episode and then go to the episode detail screen? Hi Luke, The “more” button that allows me to edit/download substitles is not shown. I need to go to the “next” episode menu and use the workaround that ebr suggested.
Luke 42078 Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Ok that's because you're on the series screen, not the episode screen.
ebr 16184 Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 There are some situations where "More" will not be shown on a detail screen, but we will address that.
V.Rds 0 Posted February 24, 2020 Author Posted February 24, 2020 Ok that's because you're on the series screen, not the episode screen. I’m not...I’m in episode screen I’m sure. Title even says “Episode 1”, is where the play, add to fav, buttons are. And I’ve tested with my IPad and it’s all good. I have not this problem on the iPad. There are some situations where "More" will not be shown on a detail screen, but we will address that. thank you ebr, I appreciate that.
Luke 42078 Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 I’m not...I’m in episode screen I’m sure. Title even says “Episode 1”, is where the play, add to fav, buttons are. Because the series screen shows you the title of your next up episode.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 A screenshot would verify what screen you are on.
ebr 16184 Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Title even says “Episode 1”, is where the play, add to fav, buttons are. If that is the title under the play button then you are, indeed, on a Series screen, not an episode one...
V.Rds 0 Posted February 24, 2020 Author Posted February 24, 2020 I’ve tried every menu, also is in this menu that shows that button on my IPad...
ebr 16184 Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Yep, that is one of the situations where its currently missing. Create a resume point and it will show. We will fix this.
