I can see it running embyserver.exe in task manager but I can not get it to stop until I reboot the computer. If I try to start Emby Server, it creates a new instance that I can see in task manager but it goes away after a few seconds. Last weekend I completely uninstalled Emby Server and downloaded the latest version. it worked that day and I didn't try it again until today, 6 days later. I am running Windows 7 with Windows Media Center and Emby for WMC. I should also mention that Emby Server does not appear in the sys tray. it was there and will be there again after rebooting. I currently only access Emby server from the local computer using WMC. embyserver.txt

Don't think I have ever seen this, or if it is related. 2020-02-22 18:47:30.882 Warn App: Unable to respond to udp request because the local ip address could not be determined. Do you have firewall rules blocking embyserver.exe?
Luke 42083 Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Yes if you're running Windows 7 it will need to be up to date with windows updates. Once you've verified that, please try again and then check windows event viewer to see if there's any events about the crashes. Thanks.
