Device missing from 'Download to' target list

I'm travelling this weekend, and was really hoping to get some movies onto my ipad, but for some reason it's not visible in the target list of the `Download to` feature in the app.  I can see my wife's ipad, and both her and my android phones, but this ipad isn't present.

The only thing I can figure is maybe the device limit was hit with old devices that have now been removed, as I did previously have about 6 devices total in the list.. Removed old defunct items but this device still didn't show up, tried removing it from the manage server/devices page and re logging in on it, and still -- it's missing.

 

 

Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, what version of iOS does it run? Are you able to download from the iOS app on that device?

Just spotted another post indicating downloads are only available on 11.x+.. that's probably my issue. not sure if my several years old ipad mini supports the newer versions of ios

Ok yes, sorry, that is the reason. I don't think at this point we're going to go back and develop the feature for iOS 9 & 10.

Yup that's the issue.. am stuck at 9.x on this ipad. bummer.
