dual band router problem

sir, this time IPv4 address changed to 192.168.1.8

Ok this is a basic network failure. From the server PC can you see the internet?

 

Can you ping 192.168.1.1 from server?

here are ping result from server PC of 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2

normal internet is working fine on both laptop and pc

Pinging 192.168.1.2 is itself so should always work.

 

Can you see internet from laptop?

 

If so then EITHER there is still a firewall running on the ROUTER or on the server PC. If it was working before router change then probably Router.

 

If you are sure ALL firewalls are off on PC then it has to be router.

 

So you would need to ask on router forum what issue could be. Point them to this thread so they can see diagnostic steps taken this far.

 

Otherwise get another router!! Out of the box it really shouldnt be that complicated.
