Update: I do not know what else to do.

I am just going to ignore it and hopefully one day the directories fix themselves...

If you changed your metadata path, did you move all the previous data in the original metadata folder?

 

If so this creates a path issue for anything already in the database and the only way to fix is a new database or manually updating the Image paths.

 

Sounds like you need to make a backup of your database and explore the Images column in the MediaItems table.

Right, I didn't change my metadata path. it has been static this whole time.

I'll see if I can take a look at the database.

Hello, Thank you for the follow up.

I just ignore it now.

It seems to be isolated to TV shows individual episodes. The cast pictures show up for the "Show" but if you drill down to an "Episode" then the cast pictures disappear.

Ok that's because the cast assigned to the episodes are typically just the guest stars. That's usually what comes from tvdb metadata. Does that answer your question?
