thomasmeriam 0 Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Is there a way to have Tivimate, login into Emby and play a live tv link supplied by HD Homerun? Links can played directly through Tivimate app directly from the HD Homerun. Example: http://192.168.1.96/v5.1 - this link plays locally the live content for channel 5. This local link is in a playlist within Emby. Emby will play it an generate this type of link: http://192.168.1.112:8096/emby/videos/14282/live.m3u8?DeviceId=PFW96aWxsYS81LjAgKFdgnmRvd3MgTlQgNi4zOyBXaB42NDsgeDY0KSBBcHBsZVdlYktpdC81MzcuAzYgKEtIVE1MLCBsaWtlIEdlY2tvKSCDaHJvbWUvNakuMC4zOTQ1Ljc5IFNhZmFyaS81MzcuMzZ8MTU8NzI0NDcyNzA7Nw11&MediaSourceId=0f962530910b11eb2080az4785852041&StartTimeTicks=612402400&PlaySessionId=58bd03c38be241d00c5ed80ec2e46a22&api_key=9c4ad249a01a43858bb55138bb952547&LiveStreamId=06044dr2e6f93cdae5f285c9ecfaaeb4_01413a525b3a9622ce6fcf19f7dde354_0a962527710b11eb2064cd8815852041&VideoCodec=h264&AudioCodec=mp3,aac&VideoBitrate=3872001&AudioBitrate=128000&AudioStreamIndex=1&TranscodingMaxAudioChannels=2&SegmentContainer=ts&MinSegments=1&BreakOnNonKeyFrames=True&ManifestSubtitles=vtt&h264-profile=high,main,baseline,constrainedbaseline,high10&h264-level=51&TranscodeReasons=ContainerNotSupported Is there anyway to generate some external link variant for the emby local live tv link to be played by google, tivimate or other streaming media player? Authorized link or token link maybe? Example: http://<extrenal ip address>:<emby server port number>/emby/videos/<live tv channel identifier>/live.m3u8?tokenkey=9c4ad249a01a43858bb55138bb952547&LiveStreamId=06044dr2e6f93cdae5f285c9ecfaaeb4_01413a525b3a9622ce6fcf19f7dde354_0a962527710b11eb2064cd8815852041 If not, can this feature be added to Emby server? Thank you.
Luke 42077 Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 Hi, we plan to add an m3u output feature in the future to allow importing into other apps.

Carlo 4560 Posted January 8, 2025 Posted January 8, 2025 (edited) Not yet but following the release of the version is dev/beta, will be a version featuring TV Next, our next generation Live TV subsystem, written from the ground up. It incorporates a lot of new functionality as well as optimizations to many things done at present, making it faster and more robust. I would assume features like being asked about here in this thread have been on hold until TV Next is out in beta or release as it wouldn't make a lot of sense to add additional features to a subsystem that is soon to be replaced. Carlo and when might this be available? I believe you guys first teased TVNext four years ago....
Carlo 4560 Posted January 10, 2025 Posted January 10, 2025 Not the current version in dev/beta, but the next version.
