Emby live TV on Fire TV Stick blaxk

When I select Live TV and a channel from the guide or list of favorites, the TV screen is black..

I can watch movies, but nothing from Live TV.

 

Any suggestions?

Sorry for the lack of info.. I'll try to add as I collect it ..

 

I'm on Emby version 1.7.78a Registered

 

Vein Plus 2(4.3.1.0)

 

I reverted back to the default player and an error message now appears when trying to access live channels:

 

Unable to tune channel at this time

 

This happens on all channels.

 

I'll try to find server logs..

So you were trying to use an external player?

Yes, VLC, but all I would see was a black screen.. With the built in player I receive the message.

What is the tuner type?  Is a tuner available at the time?

Hi EBR,

 

Is working now but I didn't do anything..

 

I open the Emby app on my firestick and select Live TV. Other than logging into Connect, I use all the app defaults.

My guess is a tuner was freed up.
