Sometimes on a web client timeline part of osd doesn’t show up.

Sometimes after watching videos the timeline doesn’t appear anymore the only item it has is top logo so you can forward or rewind as the buttons are not there anymore. I use the new edge chromium or something like that.

The only way to restore is close the page and go into emby again. When that happens is there something I can do to gather information to assist to help fix this issue. I like using edge so it is always default.

Does this happen in a different browser?

I would check the browser console for error and probably post server log.

I am not sure since I always tend to use edge.

Thanks for the suggestions I will try a different browser and look at the browser console for errors.

Can you show a screenshot?

It says 8 errors and 5 exclamation point but clicking on them doesn't take you to the error this is again edge and next to this line it has 3 in a circle

manifest.json:1 Manifest: one of 'url' or 'id' is required, related application ignored.

DevTools failed to parse SourceMap: http://myip:8096/web/bower_components/hlsjs/dist/hls.min.js.map

I think these are the errors

apiclient.js?v=4.3.1.0:1 WebSocket connection to 'ws://myip:8096/embywebsocket?api_key=281e34a3746549abace9074ba5dc67d3&deviceId=TW96aWxsYS81LjAgKFdpbmRvd3MgTlQgMTAuMDsgV2luNjQ7IHg2NCkgQXBwbGVXZWJLaXQvNTM3LjM2IChLSFRNTCwgbGlrZSBHZWNrbykgQ2hyb21lLzc5LjAuMzk0NS4xMzAgU2FmYXJpLzUzNy4zNiBFZGcvNzkuMC4zMDkuNzF8MTU3OTc2NzQwODkxMA11' failed: Invalid frame header

It has many of these errors

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED :8096/emby/videos/21trateExceedsLimit:1

What version of edge is this?

Posted (edited)

It says

To finish updating, restart Microsoft Edge.

Version 80.0.361.56 (Official build) (64-bit)
Restart

This browser is made possible by the Chromium open source project and other open source software.

That explains why no one has experienced this bug as probable no one has installed it yet.

Do you see it in chrome?

I will get in a habit to use Chrome and see does it happen there or could it be just early release glitch. It is hard to reproduce yesterday I couldn't reproduce it today I did but have no idea what I did.

We'll look into this, thanks.
