Live TV Streams bleiben im TVH bestehen

Da ist ein sehr nerviger Bug in der aktuellen emby stable. Betrifft Live TV via m3u und TV Headend. Wenn ich einen sender starte und wieder beende bleibt der stream im TV Headend Server jedoch bestehen. Zu sehen unter Status -> Subscriptions..

 

Ich habe zwar 8 Tuner aber irgendwann laufen auch die voll und ich muss immer Händisch im TVH die Streams schließen. Hat jmd dafür eine lösung ?

 

Das bezieht sich nur auf den Android TV Client

Der stream bleibt bestehen zB wenn die App crasht. Im emby dashboard zeigt er dann auch richtigerweise keine aktiven streams mehr an. Allerdings im TVHeadend server bleibt der stream zu emby bestehen und belegt einen Tuner. Ich muss den stream dann manuell canceln

The app has crashed, so he hadn't any chance to press stop. This is really a bad design decision of Emby. Every good media server should stop streaming and therefore send an internal stop to the live tv engine after a timeout when no client consumes the stream anymore.

If you really want to make a m3u export happen some day, you will also need a timeout parameter because the clients will never send any stop command to Emby.

Exakt genau das wäre die einfachste und perfekte Lößung. Emby selbst merkt ja auch das der Client nicht mehr streamt, im WebIF verschwindet er auch. Allerdings beendet es intern den Stream vom TVHeadend Server nicht, das ist das einzige Problem

We already do, but of course there might be some quirks when using a plugin.
