Can't Start Recording in Progress from the Beginning

That's it. I know this has been reported previously but I'm reporting it again.

What happened when you tried?

Nothing happens. The pop up screen only offers "Play" (No Start from beginning or start live option as I've seen before); The recording simply does not start playing, only the live stream. It was just before the hour, about when the recording padding buffer was scheduled to start. Could this be related? I've had this issue in the past recently too but didn't have the time to report it. Is there anything in the Server Log?

What, exactly, did you click on?  It sounds like you clicked on a channel not a recording.

There's a couple of things here then.

 

First off, I'm not seeing any recordings to select to play in the LiveTV > Recordings Ribbon at the top Emby in Android TV.

 

Secondly, this was started from selecting a recording in progress in the guide which should be a location start playback of a recording in progress.

 

I am going to redo this hosting screen grabs as well. Stay tuned!
