Hello,

I Neef sind Help Settings this Up.

I have installed Open Media Vault. After this i create a User called medienserver over the shell, with adduser. After this i Put it to sudo group. Now i changed with su -l medienserver to the User. With this User installed Emby with this command.

dpkg -i emby-server-deb_4.4.0.12_amd64.deb

So after this i add 2 shared folders to the library. I can Play the movies but cant delet. Also i cant make Backups with the Plugin. Access denied. Path was Home/medienserver/Emby_Backup create with mkdir with the User medienserver.

All the folders have 775 and Medienserver as owner.

i'm new to Linux so i think i have Something wrong. Have Emby his one User ? Do i need to Change the folder owner to it ?

The User ist Set to all the Media folders in OMV to rw access.

For my Windows Network i have create a user called Samba and the Network in Windows works great. I can read and write.
