Have you tried removing the emby token you use for discord and remove webhook from discord and reconfigure with a new token?

 

Sorry, my mistake. No emby api key needed.

I was planning too. but still i need to find out where is the hidden notification that has been deleted before, Maybe because it is still running in the background

I just did and I received an error on the logs for the old webhook notification,.

Have you checked other users on your server? They could have notifications configured as well.

• restart the server
• install discord plugin
• restart the server

and immediately i received a notification from discord "the server has been restarted" without any configured notification, is there any way to manually delete the old configured notification that the emby does not detected? if there is, can you give me the path of notification config so i can delete the folder or files. and reconfigure again

 

None of those actions will clear existing saved configurations, just FYI.

Hi @Luke Thanks. I guess it solved the problem. The Other user that has an admin rights has a notification configured., I thought the settings is global for all admin users, not as per user.

I just recently setup Notifiarr. It's been working great so far. Only the user activity report seems to not come through. Looking at the log retention on notifiarr there is not entry.  =(

Thanks! This was my issue as well. The plugin and their github do not say this is a required field so I left it blank. Now mine says emby.

I don’t see anywhere where this would be set.

Hi, if you are running the 4.9 beta server, then yes. Images will be attached to the discord notification using your server's remote address. So that means you also need to have remote access setup.

So should I be getting the thumbnails?

Server is remotely accessible, running Emby 4.9.1.26 and discord notifications 1.2.3.0 it shows.

OK, will look at getting that done... Its doing a big scan at moment, so will let that finish first..

Im guessing it maybe because the json passed to Discord may be sending the private IP link for the images, as the normal logs show things work.

I dont run the server in HTTPS mode.. Should I be? Just assumed HTTP would be better for performance and no real harm using just HTTP.

This could be the reason, so looking at an example will help tell us that.

It would be nice if under the scheduled task notifications of the plugin we could pick which scheduled tasks we want to be notified of being completed or failed.

Mainly all the refresh ones.

Refresh users, refresh connect data, refresh guide, refresh internet channels.

None of these are even options on the scheduled task area
