New Plugin: Discord Notifications

We used to have covers also, but sometime ago, they stopped and it was all just textual.  Not sure if that from Discord or emby that Covers no longer display.

right now I also test notifiar with discord and Webhook emby

but there are also problems sometimes there is only a short text happens when recording live tv

but when I add a finished converted file from my pc to emby then I get all informations 

 

so emby Problem or notifiar problem ?

j'ai un soucis avec ce plugin, je l'ai installer et j'ai commencer a configurer pour faire un test sur un nouveau serveur discord. j'ai copier coller le lien webhooks de mon Channel sur le labelDiscordWebhookurl dans notification discord sur mon serveur Emby, seulement la notification de test ne fonctionne pas. j'ai aussi installer MBcord sur mon pc relier directement au serveur Nas mais toujours rien. serait-il possible d'avoir de l'aide si quelqu'un a réussi a le faire fonctionner. Merci d'avance !

Quand j'essaye d'envoyer le message de test sur Discord ça me met une erreur et je n'ai aucune notification sur les Rajout de mes film et séries sur discord

I have a problem with this plugin, I installed it and started to configure it to do a test on a new discord server. I copy pasted the webhooks link of my Channel on the labelDiscordWebhookurl in discord notification on my Emby server, only the test notification does not work. I also installed MBcord on my PC to connect directly to the Nas server but still nothing. Would it be possible to get some help if anyone has managed to get this to work. Thanks in advance !

vous devez vous assurer que les pièces concernées sont correctement configurées pour garantir un bon fonctionnement.

Username for the Discord needs to be set to ensure the notification is sent

For the notification of "The Man With The Golden Gun" which one is it? The Discord plugin, or the default Emby?

Is there anyway for the plugin to show the server status changes? Eg if gou restart the server it sends a notification to say its offline then when it comes back online it sens another to say its back online,

I see that there is not currently a notification to say server is offline, but it does send a notification for when restart server is required. But I see nothing no notification settings for when you manually restart server in dashboard.

The server is sending the notifications, so it won't be able to send any when it's offline.

But would it be possible to send a notification when manually shutting down server via dashboard.   Then the last notification sent from server will be to saying it is shutting down.

Can also, have a notification sent when the server first boots up from being offline.

Startup is easy to add. Will do. 

Shutting down is a little trickier because the server will have to wait for notifications to go out, and this could make it appear like the shutdown process is stalling.

I wonder Why I received 2 notification on the same Event on discord.

I just Updated from 4.9.0.33, after an update, the notification settings has been deleted, and so I need to reconfigure again now it is giving me 2 notification

 

Emby version 4.9.0.34 beta

I have no Idea, I just setup the discord notification on 4.9.0.33, stop the emby app on qnap, Update it by manually installing 4.9.0.34, start the emby restart and discord norification is gone. So i need to set it up. Again no I dont know why I recieved 2 notification. Let me try to uninstall and install the plugin itself and reconfigure it..

The reason why you're getting double notifications is most likely because you setup two notification entries. Can  you show a screenshot of your notifications setup screen? Thanks.

Hi @Lukethere is only one notification configured, as I mentioned last time the firs configuration has been deleted or missing after the update so i reconfigure again.

For the record also, I just now tried to.

• uninstall discord plugin
• restart the server
• install discord plugin
• restart the server

and immediately i received a notification from discord "the server has been restarted" without any configured notification, is there any way to manually delete the old configured notification that the emby does not detected? if there is, can you give me the path of notification config so i can delete the folder or files. and reconfigure again

In your Discord server settings, under integrations and webhooks.

Do you have more than 1 webhook for emby in there.

No 1 webhook only, still i received notification without any notification configured
