Nope. I don't know what the problem is. I have created a new webhook, another channel, the same. If i change the URL from the discord webhook from https:// to http://  EMBY plugins says succesful send, but no test message in the discord channel. Also i have created a new Test Server on Discord, the same problem and everytime the same error in the log file.

I also have this same issue. HTTPS fails

 

edit: Fixed it. Needs to have the LabelWebhookUsername set to something

This was originally posted in 2020. It says Emby Server 4.8 is required.

I have 4.7. Looking at Emby Server downloads and 4.8 is BETA.

How long does the software sit in Beta before its prod. 3 years seems excessive.

Is there any way to customize notifications ?

Also, when I check "New media added", there is one notification by file :

- one by movie added = OK

- one by episode added = little bit spammy

Can we configure it to notify when an entire season is added (for example) ?

over the emby app on iOS I dont see all plugins , also not the discord plugin

Again, not a problem from the webhook side. I think you are forgetting what webhooks are. They are a generic mechanism and have not been tailed to whatever Discord requires. You would have use iFFFT or something like that in between to receive the webhook and convert it to whatever format Discord needs, then send it to Discord.

That's why the Discord plugin exists so that you won't have to do this.

Sorry I didn’t forget what Webhook are 

this plugin is to send emby notifications to discord server channel … 

so why is the test failed when I put it in the browser it’s working 

Anyway in the description from the plugin stands nothing from iftt or something else

I have Discord notifications setup and working.

 

I go onto Discord and the channel that the notifications will be posted. I then click edit channel. Which returns this screen.

I then click on Intergrations. Which shows the below.

I then click on webhooks

And click new webhook.

Then click on the copy webhook URL to add to emby notification

Then I set the basics for what is to be sent in notification, Server/Server restart required ect

I sent a test notification with success.
