Library Won't update

Good Day,

Can you please tell me why the movies library will not update in Emby?

I've manually ran the task 3 times and it appears to successfully complete. I can find no errors in the logs about it, and the movies do not appear in the end user UI  .. (Abdominal and Artic Dogs)

Can you help tell me where the problem lies?

I can physically open the destination directory from the OS..

\\Nas1\Media\..

Sure.. two movies....
Abdominal and Artic dogs for my toddler added to :

\\NAS1\Media\DVD\Movies

 

I manually tried to start the scan but no errors and  no update in the UI.
I waited for it to automatically run, but again no errors and now no update in the UI.(movies applet)

 

Can you advise? The last two movies before hand did filter in the library, but these 2 newer ones do not.

Hi, do you mean 'Abominable' ?

 

I think for the first one, you'll find that there are no movies named 'Abdominal' (unless they are workout videos  ) -- that could possibly be causing issues for that one.

Have you tried sorting by 'Date Added' to see if they have been recognized as something else? At which point you would need to perform an 'Identify' to correct the match

Its' concluded, I'm a dumb ass.
Misspelling of the filenames was the issue.
