Any idea why Emby generate coverart for primary image for some movies?

Hi,

 

Please see the attached screenshot, Emby seems to generate coverart for some movies even though I don't have the add-on installed.

How can I disable it (not a big fan of it)? Thank you in advance!

That's not emby-generated, it's just part of the selected cover image.

Do you know where does Emby download those images? I tried to edit the image but I can't seem to find any comes with the 4K logo......

Ok, I figured it out - some of the videos files comes with cover.jpg, and Emby seems to prefer local image.

Is there anyway to instruct Emby to ignore local images?

or download ones you do like

 

or use edit images and pick one form the metadata providers you have enabled

There is no way to ignore local images.  Local images and metadata will always take priority.
