serverebps01 12 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 It would be good if the emby had a device flow meter, as in the plex that reports the number of devices in real time, that are using the server at that moment. 2
serverebps01 12 Posted February 7, 2020 Author Posted February 7, 2020 it would be nice to have this in the future
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Wouldn't that be the same as Active Devices on the Dashboard? 1
serverebps01 12 Posted February 7, 2020 Author Posted February 7, 2020 @ Happy2Play Yes, except that every time I have to open the panel just to see the devices, it's bad.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 (edited) To me I don't see a difference as it will be a button click to show and a click to close, the same as clicking the Gear and clicking Home. Two clicks. Then you have to configure who would be able to see/use this button as everyone should not have this function. Edited February 7, 2020 by Happy2Play
miniliQuid 94 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 @ Happy2Play Yes, except that every time I have to open the panel just to see the devices, it's bad. But then would you want everyone to see it, or just admins? And would it be clickable to send you to the dashboard as admin or is it simply to monitor how busy the server is at that point? 1
serverebps01 12 Posted February 11, 2020 Author Posted February 11, 2020 miniliQuidthat's what i'm talking about would be a great idea i'm looking forward to an update that we can have this in the future
Punch 19 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 If this is to be done it surely would have to be visible by the admin account(s) only ...
serverebps01 12 Posted February 12, 2020 Author Posted February 12, 2020 that's right only for admins
miniliQuid 94 Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 miniliQuid that's what i'm talking about would be a great idea i'm looking forward to an update that we can have this in the future Wait, which part of what I said?
