Multiple playbacks from the same pc

Hello lovely community,

 

I see a strange behavior when I am trying to open as many chrome tabs as I can with transcoding streams to check my server capabilities. After a while the server is closing the streams and stop the playback even the gpu is not already overcapacity. It's this an emby security implementation, not to allow multiple streams from a user in order to stop flodding the server or is just the capability of gpu. Also a strange thing, I run with a geforce gtx 1070 8Gb gpu that should support over 20 multiple transcodes and all I can open till bottleneck is around 7-10.

Transcoding from 1080p to lower quality 

server specs:

Cpu: OctalCore AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, 4049 MHz (40.5 x 100)

Gpu: 2x Video Adapter Asus ROG-Strix-GTX1070 

Ram: 50GB ddr4

I think is closing the transcoding somehow because at one point the whole bunch of movies just stuck and even if I close the other ones the movies does not continue by default.

I assume you have patched the GTX driver, as the limit for any GTX Nvidia card is 2 streams .. then it will fall back to CPU.
