Disable On Now (live tv) button from emby

I update emby to the latest version on shield. Because my IPTV cannot get the banners for the shows that are playing the On Now section looks ugly. Is there a way to disable this section? At the moment I see stretched, ugly TV logos and I would prefer if is an option to remove On Now section.

Hi.  Yes, simply remove it from your selected sections in the Home Screen Layout settings in the app (or any app, actually, as they all share this setup).

I could get better EPG, cant emby help without getting a proper EPG? In plex I've seen populating the show banner without having it in the EPG guide.

no, I believe all live tv artwork comes from links embedded in the epg. Personally I get mine from Schedules Direct via xmltv
