Emby Lag with 4k

Hi, My LG tv can without problem play 4k videos(when play movies direct from usb hdd..), but.. when i streaming from emby server, i have lag... Yes.. my pc can play just 1060p but.. why this is important? can i use emby like 'file server'(movies) ?
