Hauppauge video recording

Hello,

I would like to buy and use the Hauppauge Colossus 2 professional video recorder to stream video onto my emby server. Is this possible?

I would love to stream satellite tv onto the server from my decoder using hdmi

Yes it work in Emby but I recommend using NextPVR and setup it as m3u Tuner as it is far more stable then Emby Hauppauge plug-in but I also used USB-UIRT not the onboard IR and you will fine a HDMI splitter I'm using VHD-1X2MN3D that can bypass HDCP or could something like this Component Converter HDMI or another option HDMI Encoder and need IR Blaster

If need used HD-PVR and it on board IR Blaster the then NextPVR is also good to go with only one HD-PVR
