GWTPqZp6b 50 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Ordered a Geforce Quadro to help with some transcoding and a HP branded version has arrived. it looks identical to the PNY model I thought I was ordering but clearly the bag says HP. Ive had issues with HP branded Intel SSDs not being compatible with Intel firmware, is this going to be the same with incompatibilities with Nvidia official firmware. Id love to know before open the anti static packet.
Luke 42077 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Hmm, @, @@Sammy, have you ever heard of this happening before? 1

If it was sold as PNY and you open it, install it and then it doesn't except the OEM f/w you should be able to get a refund by claiming ignorance if it is a reliable seller.
GWTPqZp6b 50 Posted February 2, 2020 Author Posted February 2, 2020 Thanks Sammy for following up. I purchased through Amazon, the listing didnt specify brand but now I've looked closely, the part number is listed in the details towards the bottom of the page. I've got a PNY model due to arrive tomorrow so I'll just return this one and avoid the risk.
