It really is easy to change the port for either instance.

Yep no different than running multiple installs of Emby as I run a minimum of 3 (release, beta, and previous main release), as Jellyfin is just a fork of Emby back in the day.  But as others have mentioned run each on their own custom port.

Or you can run them in Docker behind a reverse proxy.

Then I can use http://emby.local and  http://jellyfin.local and it works fine even if the (container) ports they use are the same.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I haven’t tried changing the port. I will do that.
