pwhodges 2012 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 (edited) I had a subfolder (called "BD Extras") of a series in which there were two files with the following names: Alternate ep 14 recap, Act 14.0, 14.3 Alternate ep 15 recap, Act 14.6 Emby displayed this as two versions of "Alternate ep", with the drop-down offering "14 recap, Act 14.0, 14.3" and "15 recap, Act 14.6". Surely this can't be as intended? I thought version names followed a hyphen... From the knowledgebase: ...anything following the "-" (dash) up to the file extension will be used in the drop down version selector in your Emby client. Paul Edited January 31, 2020 by pwhodges
Luke 42081 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Hi there, can you please provide specific folder and files names within the hierarchy? Thanks.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Surely all this unsupported structure is going to be chaotic and unpredictable. But will do a test. Series BD Extras Alternate ep 14 recap, Act 14.0, 14.3 Alternate ep 15 recap, Act 14.6 Season x
Happy2Play 9782 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 (edited) Okay I assume this is a parsing issue as both these specials/extras are episode 14 with a unknown season in my test, do toseries not having that many seasons. Only way in my test to get those episodes in multiversion was to apply same season/episode in metadata. Note the multi-version rule doesn't really apply to Series. It is metadata dependant season/episode. Edited January 31, 2020 by Happy2Play
