Mastrovious 0 Posted February 4, 2020 Author Posted February 4, 2020 SOLVED! I think I figured this out. The subs that comes with the strm link (in my case the IPTV provider) are not SRT extension but SUBRIP or ASS etc. I think that's why they will not enable. I just downloaded the subs instad via Open Subtitles or any other plugin that comes with Emby and it works fine. Thanks for you help!
ebr 16169 Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 Thanks. We'll look into why the others wouldn't load.

Mastrovious 0 Posted February 4, 2020 Author Posted February 4, 2020 Do they work in the web app?SRT yes, SUBRIP and ASS no. Don’t know if there are other types as well, these are the ones I’ve found so far from my IPTV provider.
Mastrovious 0 Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 So you've tried them in both apps?No only Android. I tried the iOS app but I couldn’t even get a movie playing... But I guess that’s some other issue.
Luke 42077 Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Can you try it with the web app and see if the subtitles appear?
Mastrovious 0 Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 Can you try it with the web app and see if the subtitles appear? Subs are enabled when using chrome (if that’s what you mean by web app?)
Mastrovious 0 Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 Great, thanks for the info.I’ve sent @@ebr logs from both Android and web app
