Restart Server from the web interface

Hello..

I've been testing different servers; first my QNAP TS-451+ and now my nVidia Sheild.  Can say there doesn't seem to be any issues with either and they seem to work well with my setup.

HW Transcoding (of a mkv) with the QNAP resulted in the CPU temp showing 150 degrees (ouch) and with the nVidia shield, the emby server chewed up all the system ram (16GB), so an external storage device will be needed.

Anyway, one thing I noticed with the nVidia shield is that there isn't a way to restart the server from the web interface.  If I have to restart the server, I have to exit what I'm watching on the shield, go to the emby server app, stop it and then restart it.

Is this a limitation of Android which won't allow the server app to be restarted via a web interface?

Thanks..

Don't know anything about QNAP or Android, but are you saying there is not a button on the Dashboard to Shutdown/Restart?

It's not implemented yet for Android.

I've asked for this feature years ago. Feels like when this is implemented, it will be a miracle.

You can use the api to do a restart.

curl -X POST "http://serveripaddress:8096/emby/System/Restart?api_key=YOURAPIKEY" -d ""

No you can't, not if the restart button doesn't exist in the web interface.
