Emby Streaming Knocks Out Server's Connection Periodically

As with the title, whenever I am streaming content from the server it will periodically disconnect the server's network adapter. It could be fine for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour but inevitably it will destroy the connection. To fix it, all I need to do is disable and then enable the adapter but it makes for a frustrating experience. My connection is fine at all other times; it's only when streaming (typically to an iPad or an iPhone via Direct Play) that the drop occurs. I would have thought if it were struggling it would buffer but instead it seems to straight up quit. I do have a spare NIC to try but I thought I'd ask first before committing to that. Perhaps there is something in the logs or setting changes that could provide a solution.
