tv listings for a single channel - shield

This is regarding Live TV on the Nvidia Shield

 

Some time ago, I made reference to not being able to highlight and select a particular channel in the Live TV guide to view that channels programs.  I eventually found that I could view those listings when navigating to Live TV and then Channels and selecting to view listings there.  Now, when I do that it simply plays the channel rather than give listings.

 

Is there any way to select a channel to view its listings on the Shield like we can in the web app?
