Different detail screen for items in programmes tab in live tv

Not sure is this by design but you get different screens if you click on a poster located in on now and if you click the same poster located under different category. Shouldn't they be all the same ?

While I understand you cannot see the difference - one of them is a channel (On Now) and the other is a program - they are just displayed exactly the same in the card view.

Yes we should reconcile these differences. It's due to a recent change in the way On Now works but it's on my list for review.

 

But the reason why you get the popup in the guide is so that you can avoid having to leave the guide screen in order to see program information. You do get that right?
