How do I connect to server with IP address

I just got the emby premiere and do not know how to select a server, can someone please help me as I am very new to this.

Did you install Emby Server? If you are thinking you get stuff from others via Emby Premiere, you do not. Emby is a personal media server to play your content from your Emby server for the most part. 

 

If you did install Emby server, then, you should know the IP address of your machine. You'll need to load your content onto it.

And if you're connecting to someone else's server, then ask that person for their server address information so that you can connect. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
