Luke 42079 Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Hi, thanks for reporting. This might be a tough one since we don't have the ability to test your stream, but @@softworkz will take a look. Thanks.
PaulAngus 0 Posted January 26, 2020 Author Posted January 26, 2020 Thanks! I can always create a temporary port forward to the feed, it's just the inside of an empty wooden box at the moment...
softworkz 5067 Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 There's some window in VLC that shows details about the stream. Could you post a screenshot of that information for both cameras? Thanks.
PaulAngus 0 Posted January 28, 2020 Author Posted January 28, 2020 Sorry about the size the screen shots came out....I hope this is what you're looking for. Good Stream Bad Stream Many thanks Paul Angus
softworkz 5067 Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Thanks for the screenshots. I thought there was another window showing the RTSP network details, but maybe it was another application.. Let's try something different. Could you please run the following command from the command line: (EmbySystemFolder)> ffprobe -loglevel verbose -rtsp_flags prefer_tcp -buffer_size 1M -i "rtsp://admin:thePassword@10.0.0.12:554/onvif1" and also try this (EmbySystemFolder)> ffprobe -loglevel verbose -i "rtsp://admin:thePassword@10.0.0.12:554/onvif1" Please post the results here.
BillOatman 596 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 xteve has been setup to work with rtsp cameras. https://xteve.de/

softworkz 5067 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Thank you very much for the output. It seems that the "problematic" camera is sending via multicast/udp. Can you change that in the camera configuration?
Luke 42079 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 @@PaulAngus What's the make and model of that camera?
