Download simply does not work !!! Does it work for you???

Select a series, download, episodes show up in download section on iPhone, status shows "transferring" for some files, still status does not update (!), and then 1-2 files finish download and the rest does not.

It used to work better, but now no love at all, very frustrating and disappointing !

@@Luke

I'd like to collect all related info for this problem.

What is the best place to look for it ?

Posted

@@Luke here is all steps.

Select a movie in iPhone Emby app and say Download

Via iPhone app, Downloads - nothing being downloaded shown (!)

Via browser emby server management -  the selected movie shown as "Ready To Transfer"

This all stay unchanged forever and as result no movie got downloaded.

Logs file embyserver.txt don't show anything related to this download

I tried in different network configurations, e.g. tried download on local WiFi network as well as on cell network with the same results.

Note: same steps work fine on iPad (!)

That's interesting.

My server is on ubuntu 16.04

I tried 4Mbps and actually saw conversion progress  on the server side.

However after conversion completion - still nothing was downloaded on iPhone

I can't find any traces of a file being downloaded in my logs.

How do you know that error related to your download ?

I never let the process finish, I will do a complete test and update here.

I don't see such error on my log :(

But if I have converted movie file via my server Wen UI manager, don't I have to be able to find this file/movie name in the log ?
