jglazer63 22 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 So I am watching a TV show and find I need to get subtitles. In Kodi I just select download subtitles and select the one I want. Where is this feature in Emby? The only thing I see is the ability to download subtitles for everything which is a horible idea for just one episode or movie. How can I select to download just for this single video? Thanks!
Luke 42085 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Hi there, have you explored the 3 dot menu for a video?
jglazer63 22 Posted January 24, 2020 Author Posted January 24, 2020 Hi there, have you explored the 3 dot menu for a video? Yes, I click on "Edit Subtitles" and search for english and it says none found. But I go to opensubtitles.org and there are many to choose from for that episode. Is this plugin broken?

jglazer63 22 Posted January 24, 2020 Author Posted January 24, 2020 Hi. Did you configure the plug-in with your login information for open subtitles? Yes, I put in my account information. The same one I log into opensubtitles.org with.
ebr 16195 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Can you please post a server log from when you try a search (and tell us what time and for what item you did that)?
jglazer63 22 Posted January 24, 2020 Author Posted January 24, 2020 I am trying to download the subtitles by hand. But they are out of sync with the video. I cannot find any way to set a delay or offset in emby. I saw a request for this feature going back to 2015. I would imagine it would be in here by now wouldn't it? How do I put an offset into subtitles? This is so difficult, kodi was so easy with this stuff.
Luke 42085 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 We don't have a feature to apply subtitle offsets but it's planned for the future.
