Art is downloaded despite unchecked settings

Problem One

 

I have a music library.

I do not want logos downloading for the artists, or albums, or for anything in the library really.

Therefore, I have unchecked logo in the image fetcher settings for that library. In fact, I've even unchecked everything at this point just to try and get some result.

Despite this, (even on fresh installs of emby with cleared cache and no metadata to start with at all) I still have logos downloading for all of the artists.

 

 

Problem Two

 

For the same music library:

I have "save artwork in media folders" checked on.

No artwork is ever saved in the media folders.

I do not have this problem with my movie and tv libraries, only this music library.

 

 

Can someone please explain why these things are happening?

Hi, yes there's an open issue with these options related to artists, since artists can be shared across libraries. It's something will be looking into. Thanks.
