rechigo 364 Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 I've noticed this for some time so I think it's time I make a bug report on it. I noticed that if you leave media (video or audio) paused and come back after a couple minutes, you're left with a black screen and can't resume playback. How to reproduce exactly as I did: 1. Open a video, play it. 2. Pause the video playback. 3. Turn off the device display (I'm not sure if this step is needed, but just for safe measure I'm including it) 4. Wait ~5 minutes 5. Turn the display on and try playing the media again. You'll be left with a black screen and stuck on pause. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

rechigo 364 Posted January 22, 2020 Author Posted January 22, 2020 Also, one thing I noticed was that if I play a song that I also have downloaded, it plays the remote version rather than the downloaded version. With video content, the Emby app automatically sets the version to the Downloaded version if it's available. I think that that Music libraries should do this as well as it could help mitigate this issue by playing downloaded versions if available. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
