Another one who Cannot connect to my server

Hi,

 

I know, I'm another one that cannot reach his server outside his network. I want to switch from Plex but it's not easy...

 

When I try, I always get this message (in french)

 

"Échec de la connexion - Nous sommes dans l'impossibilité de nous connecter au serveur sélectionné."

"Connection error - We are unable to establish a connection with the requested server." (my translation)

 

I had read the connectivity section. I've done everything (I think) but I still cannot connect to my server from internet (away from home)

Hi.  From what app are you trying to connect and what exactly happens when you do?

Hi,

 

I'm trying from the web app at -> http://app.emby.media/#!/startup/selectserver.html

 

I click on my server, the waiting wheel show and after a moment, I always got this message

 

"Échec de la connexion - Nous sommes dans l'impossibilité de nous connecter au serveur sélectionné. Veuillez ..."

"Connection error - We are unable to establish a connection with the requested server. Please verify the server is up and running and try again" (my translation)

I've already done that but I did it once again, to be sure

 

Everything within my Network is fine,

 

It's only when I try when outside my Nextwork

Perhaps ISP port blocking is at play here?

Hi. Does it work if you use your direct external IP address instead of app.emby.media?

Do you have more than one nic? Try putting your IP address in the bind to local ip address field.
