Hello

when I play a video on Apple TV from the Emby app, no sound comes out of my HomePod.

However on the other applications on Apple TV no problem. In addition, on other applications, I have at the audio menu level (slide down on the touch-sensitive part of the remote control from a video being played) a possibility to choose the audio source (AirPlay).

a similar setting on Emby could be very useful.

Yes, I've tested latest beta using native player and airplay speakers work. Although it must be configured in tvOS control center, application does not allow you to select Airplay speakers.

It would be nice to be able to add the functionality that allows you to choose the AirPlay speaker on which you play the sound, directly from Emby.

I don't know, but I'm afraid this beta cycle will be long since there are big changes compared to previous versions. You can ask @@ebr for a TestFlight invitation providing him your App Store mail to test the beta version.

I have the same problem, the Emby app does not have "Airplay2" support, so every time i need to change speakers from HomePod to other speakers, then back again to be able to change the volume inside Emby. This needs to be done after sleep, every time.

 

I have other apps that had this problem before but have added support for Airplay2 and now its working like all Apple Standard apps.
