@@Bayway, are you sure that Emby Server is running?

Can you try this url as well:

http://127.0.0.1:8096

that does not work.  I think the only thing running is embytray.

If I run embyserver.exe as administrator I can get to the dashboard.

If I go to settings or anything else nothing happens.

If I close out page and try again samething happens.

@@cayars can you help him with this. It's probably security software or something preventing Emby Server from running. Thanks.

I deleted the program again as well as all references this time. I started from scratch.

It is working now, not sure what went wrong.

Thx Webb

I thought it was fixed. I am going to fully delete, setup, and let it cook for a while before I try to do anything.

I added my plugins and then things changed. will give an update tomorrow night. I hope.

Hi.  Which plug-ins did you add?

Posted (edited)

I uninstalled again(complete) and noticed I still had MediaBrowser-server folder leftover (may have been the cause of the server to stop running).

I renamed it to .old and reloaded. Now I have the EmbServer folder only. It has been running all day until I loaded plugins, then the same problems.

Reloaded again but did not load the Sonos plugin. This plugin caused my server config screen to freeze or hourglass.

The only difference between running and crashing or freezing seems to be the Sonos app. I have never used this app thought

I would try it out. So I think I had 2 problems. The server installed  wrong and plugin problem.

All seems to be in order now. :) :)

Thx Webb
