Bazzu85 22 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Hi, as title.. I see in task manager that Embyserver.exe as Low Base Priority... Is there a way to increment it to normal? I asking this because I have MEGUI that transcode h24 my show in h265 format and use a lot of cpu.. Scanning the libraries on emby is a lot slow when megui is working..pausing megui makes emby become faster.. so I think incrementing emby priority can manage well all the situations when emby need the cpu!
Luke 42088 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Well we are not setting it as low ourselves.

Luke 42088 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I would try it and report your experience. Thanks.
Solution Bazzu85 22 Posted January 11, 2020 Author Solution Posted January 11, 2020 I would try it and report your experience. Thanks. I have tried.. and yes, manually modifying the priority of embyserver.exe is mantained after app kill/restart.. I don't know why the process was in low priority..now with normal priority the cpu is given to emby when requested (megui is in low priority) 1
