CWNashvegas 170 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 While doing some MBC theme testing today I noticed that one of my movies had the first several chapters in disarray. I checked and it's consistent across clients, not a display issue in MBC. The movie is Deliverance, if that's relevant. Below is a screenshot showing the out-of-order chapters in the web client. Everything after those shown is fine. Would be happy to check, test, elaborate whatever, just wasn't sure where to start looking to fix it.
ebr 16184 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 If you manually refresh in the web client, does it fix it?
ebr 16184 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Can you examine that file with ffprobe and see if maybe they are defined out of order within it?

I ran a library scan after (in fact, MB ran one on its own just before I ran one, so I think it detected the change) and tried refreshing several times. I double checked all other data files but that was the only instance where the chapters were listed anywhere. Edit - attaching the full export that the above came from. Edit #2 - also tried restarting server, scanning again, and a few more refreshes just because. No luck. deliverance.xml Edited June 18, 2014 by Knowledge Base
CWNashvegas 170 Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 Okay, so I tried everything I could think of, including moving it out of the media library, re-doing all metadata just in case (by hand), and running a library scan before and after putting it back, but the info is apparently "stuck" in the db where I can't get to it. I think this was just a case of garbage in / garbage out - it was in the original metadata files. I don't really feel like rebuilding the db right now so I'm just going to shove my OCD back in its cage and move on to other issues, like the fact that I never updated my IBN people folders to the new structure and it seems I might need to do that because none of my people have images. Funny how I grabbed the Roku logs for Luke without a tought, but can't seem to remember the more basic things after only 6 months. But I'm happiest when my nerdbrain is engaged so I'm not complainin'.
